Have you successfully grown an SME? Do you recognise the critical role that business schools can play in supporting SME leaders with appropriate programmes and support? If so, then you will be excited by the mission of the Small Business Charter.
The Small Business Charter (SBC) is governed by a Management Board made up of senior business school academics and private business people. The Management Board has two vacancies for SME representation and is inviting applications from SME leaders and entrepreneurs.
What key criteria we are looking for:
Seniority of role - Be on the board of an SME; you don’t need to be the founder or CEO, but you must have executive responsibility.
Experience of engagement with business schools.
Be prepared to travel (at your own expense) to London for quarterly Board meetings. This is the minimum requirement, although you will also have the opportunity to contribute to working groups within the Management Board.
