Dr Andrew Farrell is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing and Head of the Marketing & Strategy Department at Aston Business School, where he has worked since 2019. His research focuses on services marketing, research methodology, service quality, customer satisfaction, and marketing metrics.
He teaches Market Research, aiming to make statistics more accessible and to strengthen the use of research in business decision-making. A Certified Member of the Market Research Society (CMRS), he also serves as a Joint Chief Examiner and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
Andrew sits on the editorial boards of the European Journal of Marketing and the Journal of Marketing Theory & Practice, and reviews for several leading journals. His work has been published in Journal of Business Research, Psychology & Marketing, Industrial Marketing Management, International Marketing Review, among others. He also co-edited the Marketing volume of the 2014 Wiley Encyclopaedia of Management.
He has received several awards, including the European Journal of Marketing’s Outstanding Reviewer Award and multiple teaching awards at Aston and Southampton.
