Stirling Management School is Small Business Charter accredited recognising the importance and value we place on developing links with business and industry to inform and support our teaching, research and knowledge exchange activities. We work with our Business Advisory Board in shaping our education and business engagement strategy, and continuously engage with organisations across all sectors to help them achieve their goals and ensure that our students and graduates have access to opportunities that will enhance their skills, confidence and achievements.
The academic community at Stirling Management School is made up of four discipline-focused divisions providing a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses as well as focal points for research excellence and innovation:
- Accounting and Finance
- Management, Work and Organisation
- Marketing and Retail
The School is also home to the Centre for Advanced Management Education (CAME), dedicated to the development and delivery of post-experience management and executive education including the flagship AMBA-accredited Stirling MBA and MSc Business & Management as well as bespoke in-house executive development programmes tailored to meet the needs of the business community.
Stirling Management School was ranked top 25 for Business and Management in the last REF, and 14th for impact of its research. Many of our courses hold internationally recognised industry accreditations: the Chartered Institute of Marketing; CFA Program Partner status for our MSc Investment Analysis course and ACCA, CIPFA, ICAS , CIMA and the Chartered Banker Institute for courses in our Accounting, Finance and Banking portfolio.
The International Student Barometer survey (2016) ranked Stirling first in Scotland for welcoming international students and the Management School has a truly international outlook with undergraduate and postgraduate students from over 120 countries on campus and a growing number of students now studying our degrees in collaboration with partners in Singapore, Muscat and Hong Kong.
