As CEO of the Chartered Association of Business Schools, Flora also holds the position of Executive Director of the Small Business Charter.
Flora took up the position of CEO at the Chartered ABS in May 2023. Prior to this, she was the Director of Financial Services at the CBI.
Barney Roe
Deputy CEO & Director of External Relations
Barney oversees membership engagement, public affairs, research, communications and marketing across the Chartered ABS and Small Business Charter.
Barney joined the Chartered ABS in 2014 from Creative & Cultural Skills, the further education membership body and charity that creates jobs and education opportunities in the creative industries for young people.
Oliver Lowe
Director of Professional and Programme Development
Oliver is responsible for leading the teams which develop and deliver the spectrum of professional development activities that the Chartered ABS and Small Business Charter offers its member business schools; and the business and management educator community in the UK and overseas.
Oliver joined the Chartered ABS in June 2015 and has extensive experience of events management, business development and project management.

Nicola McFadyen
Marketing & Communications Manager
Nicola is responsible for leading the promotional campaigns for Chartered ABS and Small Business Charter activity and supports the delivery of content and communications output.
Nicola joined the Chartered ABS in November 2020 from Triggerfish Communications and has prior experience across a range of sectors including arts and culture, hospitality and events, and advocacy bodies.
Emily Boxall
Marketing & Communications Officer
Emily supports the delivery of the Chartered ABS communications output, with particular focus on editorial content.
Emily joined the Chartered ABS in November 2022, and has prior experience creating content for a range of industries including investment journalism, renewable energy and French wine.
Wiktoria Walkowiak
Digital Communications Officer
Wiktoria is responsible for the digital communications for the Chartered ABS, including supporting and enhancing our online presence.
Wiktoria joined the Chartered ABS in October 2022 from Talk TV Digital Producing, and has experience in the sectors of journalism, sales, and digital marketing.
Gareth Davies
Head of Alumni Network, Help to Grow: Management Course
Gareth is the workstream lead for the Alumni Network, and oversees all alumni events, and works alongside the content and marketing team on a variety of other engagement and CPD activities for alumni.
Prior to joining the Chartered ABS, Gareth was a programme director for a professional networking and peer-to-peer learning company and was previously head of events at a chartered membership body.
Aaliyah Shomuyiwa
Senior Alumni Administrator, Alumni Network, Help to Grow: Management Course
Aaliyah supports the running of the Alumni Network for the Help to Grow: Management programme.
Aaliyah joined the Chartered ABS in May 2022 and has prior experience in primary education, hospitality and working within the German buying industry.
Sibel Dbila
Content & Event Producer, Alumni Network, Help to Grow: Management Course
Sibel is the Content and Event Producer for the Help to Grow: Management Course Alumni Network.
Sibel joined the Chartered ABS in September 2022, and prior to joining, was completing an MSc in Development Studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Dan Richardson
Content Manager, Help to Grow: Management Course
Dan creates and manages content to boost demand for the Help to Grow: Management Course.
Dan joined the Small Business Charter in 2023 and has previous experience as a senior journalist in sectors including HR, technology and pop culture.
Daniel MacKenzie
Content Manager, Help to Grow: Management Course
Daniel is responsible for the delivery of content and communications across the Help to Grow: Management Course Alumni network.
Prior to joining the Small Business Charter as a Content Manager, Daniel worked at the Architectural Association, King’s College London, REDRESS and Campaign Magazine in addition to being an active sports journalist since 2020.
George Pittick
Curriculum Programme Manager, Help to Grow: Management Course
George is the Curriculum Programme Manager for the Help to Grow: Management Course.
George joined the Chartered ABS in June 2022 and has worked previously in online assessment, where he successfully managed examination sessions with global awarding organisations.
Michael Baptist
Programme Administrator, Help to Grow: Management Course
Michael is a Programme Administrator for the Help to Grow: Management Course.
Michael joined the Chartered ABS in June 2022 and had previously worked as a Research Project Officer, researching educational inequality. Michael holds an MSc (Hons) in Clinical Psychology and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Hertfordshire.
Kimberly Noel
Programme Administrator, Help to Grow: Management Course
Kim joined the team in November 2021 and is a Programme Administrator for the Help to Grow: Management Course. She is responsible for supporting the different workstreams within Help to Grow, and works closely with the business schools in giving guidance and assistance of the running of their cohorts.
Prior to joining the Chartered ABS, Kim has worked for several SME’s, whilst completing apprenticeships in both Digital Marketing and Associate Project Management.
