New Executive Director appointed to the Small Business Charter
We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Ian McNaught as our new Executive Director. Ian McNaught joins the Small Business Charter team as Executive Director from 8th September and is ready to hit the ground running.
Ian was previously at Ichor Systems Ltd, and has over 14 years entrepreneurial business experience at a senior level and 25 years operations management experience. He has extensive leadership and management experience working across start-ups, SMEs, complex multi-nationals, government bodies, academia and membership organisations - within the UK and across Europe, USA, Russia, Israel and China. He is also the Scotland Board Chair for the Chartered Management Institute.
Ian McNaught said: “I am passionate about organisational excellence combined with entrepreneurial strategy. This is reflected in my MBA research of SME Entrepreneurship Innovation and Internationalisation, and I am looking forward to leading the Charter on to great success.”
