Management Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (mKTPs) are a new innovation from Innovate UK. They run alongside the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) programme, which has been helping companies grow for over 40 years.

Management KTPs create a dynamic 3-way partnership between a business, a team of academic experts from a UK business school and a skilled graduate. The focus of a mKTP is specifically on driving effectiveness through better management practices.

Taking place on 30 June at Sheffield Business School this in-depth workshop will explore the ways in which business schools can develop and manage mKTPs with small business, and the opportunities that these 3-way partnerships present for business schools, the business and the associate.

Join us and find out about:

  • The practicalities of establishing and funding an mKTP
  • The issues around recruiting and managing associates for your mKTP
  • The impact of an mKTP and its benefits to the business, the associate and the business school
  • The specific challenges of managing and controlling an mKTP project
  • How the relationship between the business and the business school can be extended and deepened once the project is concluded

You can find out more about the mKTPs initiative and the resources available here.
