Our Industrial Advisory Partnership Board provides an advisory forum programme development in the Business discipline. A number of our programmes are also recognised by professional bodies including Chartered Institute of Accountants (CIMA) and Digital Marketing Institute (DMI).
Our programmes are recognised around the globe for quality and flexibility, attracting both national and international students as a result. Students also benefit from the real-world experience of our staff; many are consultants on international projects and have developed links with partners in China, India, Russia, Europe amongst others.
In addition to our educational programmes, we offer a range of services focused on the needs of our clients in both the public and private sectors. Our team of specialists have extensive practical experience in delivering tailored training programmes, student placements and research.
The University of the West of Scotland is an approved Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Centre providing a range of qualifications to suit managers of varying experience, across the private, public and third sectors. In addition, UWS is the only university in Scotland approved by the Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative (SFEDI) to deliver its Diploma in Business and Enterprise Support.
